The story behind Digital 451
Digital 451 takes its name from Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, a story about a society that destroys books and suppresses knowledge.
The reference gives our name a deliberate contrast. Where the novel imagines knowledge being lost, our work is about making information easier to preserve, understand, and put to use.
In modern organisations, knowledge can disappear without a single page burning. It gets buried in disconnected systems, lost in outdated documents, or separated from the people who need it. Information architecture helps keep that knowledge findable, trusted, and useful.
